Had a great after work get together at the Delgado home. We are celebrating the end of Solano College first week of the fall semester. Mr Delgado grilled up some meat for tacos, and Marisol served up some very tasty rice. Mom topped it all off with the best Sangria I have ever had.

What you can't see is that after this picture was taken a huge fight broke out just a couple of feet from this window. It was a horrible shock to this just previous serene moment. By the way that is Marisol smiling at you.

360 Project

I'm sure you may have heard about this project where you post a picture a day.  I thought it would be interesting to see how the year proceeds through pictures.  Today is my first picture post for this project.  This is Makala.  She is my youngest granddaughter.  I am assigned to pick her up from school on Wednesdays because her mom is in a class at the college during the time she is suppose to pick her up.  Her mom wanted me to text her that everything was ok.  This is the picture I sent her showing that Makala is alive and well...and I didn't forget to pick her up.  I know that was what she was really afraid of.

Filoli Gardens

 I love to take pictures.  I have joined a photography "Meet Up" group to learn more on how to take a great picture.  This week the group went to Filoli Gardens in Redwood City, CA.  I have lived in California all my life and never knew something like this existed.  The garden was magical, but a little early in the spring season to see it fully bloomed.  I practiced with a macro lens and I think these are my best shots yet.
